Cornucopia of our Autumn Harvest

Milky Way Farm hosts a pick-your-own pumpkin patch during the month of October. We grow 10 acres of pumpkins which yield approximately 25,000 pumpkins in a favorable weather year. Visitors to the farm can purchase pumpkins right off the vine in the pumpkin patch or select them in the sales area. We also grow and sell such other fall harvest products as gourds, Indian Corn, crook-neck pumpkin, squash, corn stalk bundles, miniature pumpkins and many fall decorative items.

We welcome and schedule groups of any size on October weekends who come to visit the pumpkin patch. Please e-mail us in advance to schedule for groups in excess of fifteen (15) persons at pumpkins@milkywayfarm.com.

On the October weekends, the farm is open from 10am-5pm, and free hayrides run continuously to take visitors to the pumpkin patch. An easy walking path is also available for those who choose to stroll to the patch. Weekend visitors enjoy our young farm animals, educational dairy farming exhibits and our premium-made ice cream for a "moolicious" treat.

The farm is also open for pumpkin sales during weekdays in October from 3pm-5pm. Only the walking path is available during weekdays; we do not offer hayrides on weekdays. There is no admission fee and the parking is free at Milky Way Farm.
