Milky Way Farm offers private tours to groups and families of all ages. These tours can be a general introduction to agriculture and farm animals, or tailored to a special topic chosen prior to the visit. Our tours emphasize close interaction with our farm animals, farm crops, and machinery, while promoting an understanding of farming as a way of life.

We offer private tours to families. Generally, these tours are conducted during evening milking time when families can assist with cow and calf feeding, collecting of eggs, feeding of goats and sheep, and watching the cows being milked.

We welcome tours for older students seeking information on specific science topics for an upcoming report. Tour topics can be:

v Nutrition
v Conservation and Ecology
v Animal Husbandry
v Plant Biology

In addition, we tailor tours for scouting groups working on scout badges. The tour enables the scouts to meet one of the requirements of the conservation, farm, animal and ecology badges.

Come and personally experience the uniqueness of dairy farming. Cost of the tour is $10.00 per person. Length of tour can be up to 1 1/2 hours.  Private tours are available year-round (except October), preferably on weekends.
